We are happy that you want to get involved with our mission! To participate in any DWP mission, you must be scuba certified and have at least 30 ocean dives and a peak buoyancy certification under your belt. If you want your teen to participate, they must also be scuba certified and have at least 25 dives completed and a buoyancy certification. If you are not yet scuba certified or don’t have a buoyance certification, unfortunately, you will not be able to participate in a mission. However, there are tons of scuba clubs around the country that can you get your scuba certification or improve your skills. Visit the National Association of Black Scuba Divers to get more info on clubs in your area.
